Tozour Energy Systems Acquires The Baase Company
March 28, 2017 — The Philadelphia area’s leading commercial HVAC and building automation provider, Tozour Energy Systems, announced today it has acquired The Baase Company of Warminster, Pa.
The Baase Company, operating for half a century, is a regional supplier of choice for commercial HVAC equipment, including boilers, heat exchangers, pipes, pumps, accessories and more. The Baase Company is a manufacturer’s representative for some of the industry’s most-recognized HVAC brands including AERCO, Weil Pump Company, Thrush Company and Chromalox.
The two companies have similar geographic footprints: The Baase Company’s territory includes Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware; Tozour Energy Systems operates principally in Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey. The Baase Company will relocate to Tozour Energy System’s King of Prussia headquarters and will operate as a division of Tozour.
Tozour Parts & Supplies stores in Pennsylvania and New Jersey will immediately begin stocking AERCO boiler parts and other hardware to support The Baase Company’s manufacturers’ product lines.
“We’re proud to welcome The Baase Company’s team, its partners and customers—some of whom we already share—to the Tozour Energy Systems family,” said Kevin Duffy, president of Tozour Energy Systems.
There will be no job loss associated with the acquisition, and it’s expected that combining and expanding the product lines will create additional employment opportunities. Tozour Energy Systems and The Baase Company are both private companies, and terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
