Tozour Energy Systems Wins Sixth Straight ‘Best Places To Work’ Title
Philadelphia Business Journal honors leading HVAC and building automation systems provider
Tozour Energy Systems Best Places to Work 2017
King of Prussia, Pa. — Aug. 11, 2017 — Tozour Energy Systems (TES), a full-service HVAC and building automation systems provider, has been named one of Greater Philadelphia’s “Best Places to Work” for the sixth consecutive year in the rankings presented by the Philadelphia Business Journal. Tozour was honored in the large classification (100-499 employees) thanks to voting by the TES team.
The top-ranking companies were revealed at the Aug. 10 breakfast event at The Fillmore Philadelphia and appear in today’s edition of the Philadelphia Business Journal. The anonymous employee surveys recognize the top employers in the Greater Philadelphia area. Each company included in the 2017 “Best Places to Work” list reached a statistical benchmark to receive this special recognition.
“It’s an honor to be named a ‘Best Place to Work’ because it comes directly from our Tozour team,” said Kevin Duffy, president of Tozour Energy Systems. “Our company’s success is the result of Tozour’s highly engaged team providing clients with excellent service, innovative HVAC systems and programs that reduce building energy consumption and save money.”
The “Best Places to Work” award is given based on results of a survey taken by employees of each nominated business. Through the third-party survey administered by Quantum Workplace, employees score their place of employment on the following criteria: work-life balance; respect and caring for employees; recognition of accomplishments; feeling empowered; good teamwork and commitment to community.
Founded in 1979 with 30 employees, Tozour is now a robust team of more than 210 professionals and has become the region’s leading distributor of high-performance building systems in Philadelphia and South Jersey. The company’s acquisition of The Baase Company of Warminster, Pennsylvania earlier this year, has created the opportunity for Tozour to offer high-quality heating systems and parts to its clients.
The Basse aquisition continues TES’ expansion of product offerings, which includes AERCO boilers, Weil pumps and Thrush heat exchangers, pumps, and expansion tanks. Tozour remains the factory-authorized Trane equipment, service and parts provider in Philadelphia. This affiliation gives customers exclusive access to a team of factory-trained service technicians, as well as a local inventory of Trane cooling rental equipment, parts and supplies.
