Tozour Energy Systems Completes Day of Community Service
December 11, 2015 — Tozour Energy Systems, a leading provider of HVAC and building automation services, will take part in several community volunteer opportunities on the company’s annual “Day of Service” this Saturday, Dec. 12. Team members from the company will donate their time and talents with three local charities: The Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia, Habitat for Humanity of Burlington County, New Jersey and Cradles to Crayons in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
The Ronald McDonald House supports the families of terminally ill children receiving treatment in the Philadelphia area by providing a nearby home and meals. The organization operates entirely through donations and volunteered services. Tozour volunteers will supply, cook and serve breakfast to the families in residence.
Habitat for Humanity is a national organization dedicated to building and providing affordable housing to families in need. Tozour team members will participate in a team build with Habitat for Humanity in Burlington County and will return when the keys to the home are given to a selected family upon completion.
Cradles to Crayons provides children in need with essential items that allow them to thrive at home, at school and at play. The organization collects new and nearly-new children’s items through community drives and corporate donations. Tozour volunteers will visit the facility in Philadelphia to assist in the sorting and distribution of goods to disadvantaged children, just in time for the holidays.
“Giving back to our community is a key component to the overall mission of Tozour Energy Systems,” said Kevin Duffy, President of Tozour Energy Systems. “Our annual day of service gives us the opportunity to support these three worthy Philadelphia-area causes.”
Throughout the year, the company offers employees a matching donation program to encourage their support of causes to which they personally feel connected. Among others, Tozour proudly supports The National Liberty Museum, Cristo Rey High School, Cystic Fibrosis, United Way, The Franklin Institute and Special People in the Northeast (SPIN).
