Tozour Energy Systems Receives Main Line Chamber of Commerce “Gives Back” Award
Nov. 3, 2016 – Tozour Energy Systems was recognized this morning as a recipient of a 2016 “Gives Back” Award from the Main Line Chamber of Commerce (MLCC). The King of Prussia-based HVAC, building automation and energy solutions provider accepted the award today at the Summit on Business Leadership and Corporate Volunteerism hosted by the MLCC.
Applicants for the “Gives Back” Awards are measured on their company’s commitment to enhancing the community, through both monetary support and volunteer efforts.
The culture of giving back at Tozour Energy Systems was established by the company’s founder and chairman, Doug Tozour, who encourages his team to support myriad charity endeavors and events throughout Greater Philadelphia.
“Our company makes its home in Greater Philadelphia and our team is committed to making the community a great place to work, live and play,” said Kevin Duffy, president of Tozour Energy Systems. “Thank you to our team members for their dedication and to the Main Line Chamber of Commerce for this recognition.”
On Nov. 5, Tozour team members will participate in the company’s annual Day of Service, in which employees volunteer at a number of Greater Philadelphia nonprofit organizations to help make a difference. Throughout the year, Tozour Energy Systems offers employees a matching donation program to encourage their support of causes to which they personally feel connected. Among others, Tozour proudly supports The National Liberty Museum, Cristo Rey High School, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, United Way, The Franklin Institute and Special People in the Northeast (SPIN).
